Read the assigned book chapters and Scripture before each meeting. Give participants the two student handout pages for that session, and keep the teacher guide alongside your own copy. Each meeting follows a suggested hour of Scripture, conversation, an activity, and prayer.

Who are we?
Begin with God and the people who bear his image. Human worth is not something we earn by being clever, useful, or productive.
Power and responsibility
A tool can extend our abilities without taking over our responsibility. The book’s Fruit Tree Principle asks us to consider what we preserve or destroy in pursuing a goal.
Connection and fellowship
Christian fellowship involves shared life, vulnerability, and care. Consider whether our habits help us participate in that life or make it easier to withdraw.
Creating and working wisely
Consider the purpose behind creative work and the people affected by workplace decisions. Use the three D’s: Dignity, Development, and Due.
Serving the church
Evaluate ministry tools by the ministry they serve. The class’s three P’s provide a starting point: Purpose, Presence, and Principles.
Hope and faithful engagement
Bring fears and hopes about technology into conversation with Christian hope. End by naming a faithful next step that does not depend on predicting the future.
